Some of the festival’s heaviest eargasms happened last night, courtesy of Maestro Joseph Flummerfelt, a huge orchestra plus chorus, and some pretty classy soloists — all conspiring to crank out Giuseppe Verdi’s towering, overpowering Requiem.
