The Piccolo Prowler…
Greetings to all! Robert Bondurant here, but as Lindsay seems to have aptly described my accepted mission this festival season, henceforth I am the Piccolo Prowler. I’ll be stealing through the side streets and back alleys of our fair city to bring you the scoop on Piccolo Spoleto 2007. And I am dearly looking forward to the opportunity to take in as much of our festival as I can possibly stand!
And who am I? Well, if you’ve visited any of Millennium Music’s locations in Charleston over the last twelve years, you’ve probably run into me at some point. Lindsay and I shared responsibility in the classical room(s) for a while, but I’ve also held the positions of jazz specialist, floor manager, world specialist, etc… This variety in scope has led me to a path best described as “Zen and the Art of CD Player Repair.” I currently work as the company’s product manager, which really means that if you want to see me, you have to ask… I’m usually chained up in the warehouse recklessly playing with sharp objects while training myself to read bar codes by sight.
I’ll be at Millennium Music during the week days, so if you’d like to come by and say hi, follow the sound of Jacob Marley’s Chain… At night, the Prowler will emerge and Piccolo will be enjoyed!
