It seems Supergeek lied to you in the CP’s May 23 preview issue. Somehow I didn’t get the word that Westminster’s two mixed-choir concerts (May 31 & June 7) will NOT happen at their usual location at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke & St. Paul. They’ve been moved right around the corner, to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church on Marion Square (405 King St.). We got it right in the buzz-ometer and the main calendar.
The word is that ticket sales have been suspended for the time being, due to the venue switcheroo: mayhaps they’re not yet sure how many more folks (if any) they can cram into St. Matthew’s. Call the festival ticket office (843-579-3100) to see what’s up.
